Goodbye to 2004

This will be my last post of the year. Tomorrow is a new day and a new year. Today I added new posts and photos to my Hypno Kitty blog and my cat blog Tres Gatos. It is raining like cats and dogs outside today. I'm happy to be cozy in the warm interior of my apt. I don't drink and I have no plans to celebrate the new year which is a little sad. I usually have some gigs as a psychic reader so I don't make plans on purpose, but then when no one hires me, I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do at midnight.
If you are partying tonight, then be safe and don't drive. Sleep a cab...etc.
Happy New Year!

Someone said that nothing is free, and you get what you pay for, but I can think of many things that are free...each new day, the air we breathe, the opportunity to seek forgiveness, the new cells our bodies make each moment, the blood in our bloodstream, the milk of human kindness, the herbs that grow with no help from us, the beauty that is found everywhere we look, the new chance to learn from old lessons.

I'm getting back into juggling

Why you may ask? Because I was taking myself to seriously. "A merry heart doeth good."

Practice make nerfect.

If I spent half as much time dancing as I do on the internet, I'd be a size 4 about now. I've been working on my website, and now I know where the term middle aged spread came from...from spending too much time at a desk playing chair jockey. So as soon as I finish this post, I'm going outside to dance or juggle or something. It's a bit nippy out there but I warm up fast.

I got to play piano for a little while yesterday. I want to follow that up today with some more practice. Note reading is difficult when I'm rusty. I'm okay with notes on the staff, but when they get way above or way below, I start guessing and it sounds like it as I hit the wrong keys.
Ah well, if it were easy, we'd all be Mozart.

Wild Blueberry Muffins

Of course my tummy is happy too. Posted by Hello

I just read that blueberries are good for the brain. So I whipped up some wild blueberry muffins. Posted by Hello

The Salutation of the Dawn
Listen to the exhortation of the dawn
Look to this day!
For it is life, the very life of life.
In its brief course lies all the
Verities and realities of your existence.
The bliss of growth
The glory of action
The splendor of beauty
For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is only a vision,
But today well lived makes
Every yesterday a dream of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope
Look well, therefore, to this day!
Such is the salutation of the dawn.

Green thumbs welcome

I realized a lot of my posts have been about gardening, so I decided to give them a home of their own. So I made a gardening blog.

Psychic Faire this Sat.

For those that know me in real life and like to go to psychic faires, I will be at the Learning Light Foundation's monthly psychic faire this Sat. It goes from 10 to 5 but I will be there from 10 to 4 doing readings. They also have vendors and free lectures. If you get their free newsletter, be sure to grab the back page with the 'get in free' coupon. See you there.

A girl's gotta eat.

Well, I've gone and done it! I've listed 3 of my handmade items on EBAY. It took me all afternoon to figure out how to do it. And so far I only know how to post one photo to each item, so if you need more views, let me know and I'll email you the other photos.
